Website support, hosting, and domain acquisition are critical steps in setting up any business online. The web hosting platform GoDaddy was founded in 1997 and, ever since, has taken on the many challenges of website management and increased digital adoption, with the latest being sustainable initiatives for corporations.

Right now, GoDaddy is empowering thousands of entrepreneurs around the world by providing all of the help and tools to succeed online and in person. GoDaddy's mission is "to give our customers the tools, insights, and networks to transform their ideas and personal initiative into success."

Recently, GoDaddy has been prioritizing its focus on environmental actions, specifically accounting for and disclosing greenhouse gas emissions.

In GoDaddy's 2021 Sustainability Report, they shared their first greenhouse gas reduction target, which was to reduce their scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2025.

GoDaddy has remained steadfast in their commitment to inclusive entrepreneurship. Since the launch of Empower by GoDaddy, they served over 5,000 entrepreneurs in underserved communities.

During Covid, GoDaddy shifted to hybrid work and a model they refer to as "Hub-Club-Home." This model allows employees to work full-time in an office (Hub), others work part of the week in an office (Club), and some will choose to work exclusively from home. This new era of work requires flexibility, and GoDaddy understands that employees thrive on the ability to have a choice of where to work that fits in with their life.

As a result of adopting a hybrid work model and optimizing its company office space with sustainability in mind, GoDaddy has been able to reduce its active corporate real estate footprint by 55% over two years.
