The following companies understand that they're not only focusing on the present, but they're investing in the future by implementing carbon offset strategies. With that in mind, here are a few companies doing it right.

Microsoft

Microsoft achieved their carbon neutrality through investments in offsets that focused on avoiding emissions instead of eliminating carbon already emitted. Additionally, they're also refocusing their efforts in 2020 with an even more aggressive strategy in order to lower Microsoft's own carbon emissions to become carbon negative by the year 2030

Honeywell

Honeywell has made the commitment to become carbon neutral in their facilities and activities by 2035 and they continue to analyze and assess carbon emissions throughout our supply chain, quantifying and mitigating them where practicable.

The company has cut its greenhouse gas emissions by more than 90% since 2004, and this has been accomplished by incorporating sustainability into their core operating system, resulting in the creation of hundreds of efficiency projects across our operations.

JetBlue

In 2020, JetBlue declared they they've fulfilled their objective to become carbon neutral on all domestic flights. This year, they're now the first airline in the United States to achieve carbon neutrality on all of their domestic flights.

On July 1, 2022 the airline will be offsetting all of their domestic flights' carbon dioxide emissions from jet fuel. Additionally, JetBlue is investing in sustainable aviation fuel.
