Popular plant-based restaurant Monty's Good Burger is opening a location in Downtown Santa Monica.
- Fun fact: Eating just one Monty’s IMPOSSIBLE Burger (instead of a burger made from cows) will SAVE the Equivalent of 75 sqft of Land, 1/2 Tub of Bathwater, and 18 miles of Car Emissions
The space was originally the home of Thai Dishes on Broadway, and while there isn't a set opening date, the restaurant seems to be making ample progress.
Founded in 2018, Monty's Good Burger has five locations across the Los Angeles area.
"Monty's Good Burger is the plant-based concept of close friends who could not imagine a better place to manifest their passion for real, quality food. Founded in the summer of 2018 in Southern California, Monty's has now served more than 2.5 Million+ Burgers, Fries, Tots & Shakes. Monty's Good Burger features artisanal burgers made from locally sourced ingredients, house-made sauce, caramelized grilled onions, and the plant-based Impossible™ 2.0 Patty," reads the restaurant's website.
Monty's goal is to promote sustainable plant-based eating, promote animal rights and pet adoption, and provide a 100% plant-based menu that anyone (even non-plant-based individuals) can enjoy.
