Walmart recently launched a new online tool called Circular Connector, with the goal of bridging the gap between companies searching for sustainable packaging and those that offer them.
“With the Circular Connector, we expect the journey to become easier for brands and innovators to identify and implement more sustainable packaging solutions,” says Ashley C. Hall, Director, Strategic Programs at Walmart.
The Circular Connector is available for any packaging company that is interested in submitting sustainable packaging solutions.
In order to participate, innovations must align with Walmart’s sustainable packaging goals. Every single submission will be screened against those goals and then published later this year for public download on the hub and made available to Walmart private brands associates and suppliers for their consideration.
